What to bring for a smooth and comfortable stay

A well-prepared arrival ensures your horse settles quickly and you can make the most of your time here—on the trails, in the pasture, and in rhythm with the land.

Essential Documentation

Please travel with the following, organized and readily accessible:

  • Current Coggins test (original or high-quality copy)

  • CVI (health certificate) if crossing state lines

  • Vaccination records, including Flu/Rhino within the past 6 months

  • Emergency contacts (your veterinarian and a local contact if available)

  • Insurance documentation, if applicable

Feed & Hydration (if required)

If your horse has specific dietary needs:

  • Hay (bring extra to avoid abrupt changes)

  • Grain and supplements, ideally pre-portioned

Horse Comfort & Care

  • Blankets or sheets (weather can shift, even in warmer months)

  • Grooming kit (brushes, hoof pick, fly spray)

  • Basic first aid kit (thermometer, wrap, antiseptic, and any vet-approved medications)

Tack & Equipment

  • Halter and lead rope (plus a spare)

  • Saddle, pad, and bridle

  • Any additional equipment you prefer (e.g., lunge line)
